Stefan Meier

After I finished my apprenticeship in IT in 2004, my interest in new challenges was continuously growing. First, I combined studying French at the University of Lausanne with working as an IT assistant. After I finished my language Diploma, I decided to concentrate on Computer Sciences and I subscribed to a four year part-time Bachelor of Science at the HES-SO in Yverdon, while I continued to work. I’ve finished my Bachelor of in Computer Science this autumn 2012.
My current work as Head of the IT Unit of the Faculty of Biology and Medicine at the University of Lausanne is almost all about team and project management. Therefore I chose this Master to deepen my knowledge and get more experience in this field.
Beyond my pluridisciplinarity, I speak and write fluently German and French and I have good skills in Japanese and English. Japanese is the language I speak in my private life.
