René Rippstein

René Marcello Rippstein is a Member of the Executive Board of Health Promotion Switzerland and Head of the department Services and Communication since 2009. His responsibility is to set up cooperations with private companies and health insurers with the aim to foster human capital in companies on the base of workplace health promotion, thus strategically enhancing corporate culture and productivity and having an impact on cost. In parallel, he maintains good relations with politicians and his vast professional network. Before, René Marcello Rippstein was an Executive Member at Mobiliar in Bern (3000 employees, turnover of CHF 2 bn.), a benchmark company in terms of brand recognition and image. Through his professional and educational experience (training as economist and executive MBA St. Gallen) he has acquired a strong background in strategy, HR, marketing, sales (key-account, internet, call center and CRM), negotiating with partners and project management.
Between 1995 and 1998, René Marcello Rippstein established his own company (24/7 personal assistance for home and travel) with a customer base of 1.5 million and an annual support of 200,000 customers. In 2008, he sold his shares and retired from the Board of Directors. In short, having launched several innovative projects, René Marcello Rippstein embodies the personality and the visionary spirit of an entrepreneur. He lives with his family in Fribourg.
